I hope my shy kids develop confidence in their abilities, since it holds them back when doing work especially math. My oldest is now in high school this year and while she is crazy outgoing at home and around friends she is antisocial around others, so I hope she gains confidence in school and learns to speak up. Also I hope she realizes that she can make new friends that have more like minded goals in terms of achieving an end goal since most of her friends from junior high barely made it and didn’t understand why she was even on honor roll.
