I am the author of Southern Fried Women . . . my husband saw the google alert this morning, and I must say, I am honored. Thank you for sharing my work. Sincerely. It’s thrilling to know this book lives on in the hearts of so many. My mother-in-law, whose picture graces the front cover along with her twin sister (1948), recently passed away. She inspired the short story, Beach Babies, within the book. It’s heartening to know her legacy will live on forever, as well. Again, thank you for loving these stories of so many women who have floated in an out of my life. I am truly grateful. ~ Pamela King Cable
