Last year we started a new tradition of giving our children their Christmas stocking on Christmas Eve. We fill them with Christmas themed toys and gifts that they can play with while they watch Christmas movies or during friends/family visits. They are move Christmas “party favor” this way. I also find that the kids are more likely to share/play together when they receive them instead of running off to play with their gifts on their own.
