  • We really don’t have much in the way of Easter traditions. When the kids were younger, of course, we did Easter baskets & colored eggs & did egg hunts. Now we just have ham dinner. This year, my aunt will be joining us for dinner.

  • We normally do have Easter Tradition but since there is someone in our family that is being a real you know what. They want to have it at there house and not invite our family. Pretty rude if you ask me, but I think we will have it at our house this year now not really sure honestly. The kids are all grown up so maybe just dinner and something special with just the few of us.

  • I love decorating eggs with my daughters. I also setup a Easter egg hunt for them. I also make Easter themed treats and crafts with them.

  • We used to do everything: Color eggs, have an elaborate dinner, discuss the reason for Easter, and then have an egg hunt. Now that we are old and the kids scattered, we don’t celebrate.

  • We do the usual things, colour eggs, hide a bunch of candy and other treats. My parents always used this as an opportunity so get us a few new spring outfits (small town 3.5 hours away from a mall) and/or shoes so I try to carry that on, from us not E.B. And of course bake and make a lot of appies and desserts with all the eggs lol

  • Our Easter tradition is to attend Sunrise Service at our church. Then we head home for our traditional Easter lunch which includes ham and cornbread dressing. The kids hunt eggs and we usually spend the rest of the afternoon outside. We don’t forget the reason for the season.

  • No traditions any more because kids are all grown. We are not a religious family, so our traditions were purely secular consisting of a morning egg hunt around the house with filled plastic eggs. I loved to hide them the night before. So much fun.

  • Unfortunately we have none left, my ex managed to change some and then going thru the divorce and splitting holidays did a number on the rest of them. Most of the time we celebrate a week ahead or a week after but handing out candy and hopefully turkey works well! I’m thinking this year we create some new ones.

  • We do a different style of hunt each and every year…jeopardy, minute to win it, wheel of fortune etc…the kids are late teens now so variations are getting difficult to organize.

  • It’s not really a tradition, but we always do something whether it’s coloring eggs, hiding them, or giving out Easter baskets. It seems like it’s always at least one of those things, sometimes two.
