How to Dye Easter Eggs with Food Coloring
I love Easter but with so many activities and events going on around the same time, I can never remember to buy those Easter egg decorating kits. The great news is – I don’t need it! That’s right mommy, this year you can skip the extra expense and pull your favorite food coloring out of the pantry instead!
We can dye our eggs with food coloring! Just mix half-cup boiling water, one teaspoon vinegar and add drops food color in a cup or small bowl. Repeat for each color combination you want. Dip hard-boiled eggs into homemade egg dye for as long as it takes to receive the desired colors (up to five minutes.)
It always looks so easy until i try it. My eggs never look like that good job!
Love this! Your eggs look so vibrant in color!
Thanks for sharing!
I had no idea I could just use dye! We’re definitely going to try this!
pretty! Thanks for the how to 🙂
I love your color combinations! Very important when handling that stuff to wear latex gloves or suffer the consequences!
Those are pretty colors there. I’ve never colored eggs, but would love it.

No, I don’t think I’ll ever buy one of those kits again! Thanks! My niece and I are going to dye eggs together this year. We’ll be doing this!
This is so nice – I do have food coloring, so I see now I don’t need a kit for Easter eggs. I love the colors!
