I throw a costume party in October every year where we play ‘Trick or Treat.’ I’m not big on Halloween, but I love games! There is a bowl of strips of paper and a bowl of candy. Each strip of paper either says ‘Treat’ and you pick a candy out of the bowl for your turn, or it describes a ‘trick’ you must perform.
We trick or treat downtown at the businesses and play games, come home and have pizza and head out to family and friends for trick or treating, come home watch Charlie Brown Halloween and go to bed.
It varies from year to year and I worked Halloween night this year. But I always do a little something to celebrate. I’ve been enjoying watching American Horror Story and I bought candy. And we’re allowed to dress as we like at work, so I put together a creepy Halloween makeup look!
I’m not big into Halloween. When the kids were younger, we’d do the going to pick out a pumpkin and hayride thing. And trick or treating. Now I’m just happy to be the nice lady at the door handing out treats.
