My favorite Christmas tradition is every year I buy my grandkids a new personalized ornament for the tree, and a pair of Christmas Eve pj’s. When the become adults they will have a whole tree of ornaments from their Gigi.

My favorite holiday traditions are the stockings! We fill them ourselves because Santa shouldn’t have all the fun, and we fill them with..umm..unique and funny things. Yes, there are standard things like candy, oranges and such..but we also add spam and other things to make everyone laugh. Great times had taking turns pulling something out of your stocking and laughing with everyone.

My favorite traditions are spending time with my kids. We do an advent calendar but instead of getting items we do Christmas movies a different one each day counting down until Christmas day. I also love spending the day baking all different types of cookies while we listen to Christmas music, it’s a tradition I’ve done since I was a kid and enjoy that I get to now do it with my kids.

We put up the tree the day after Thanksgiving. Our rule is that Santa brings one present only. On Christmas we all open our present from Santa and we’re off to Christmas Day celebrating with extended family.
