Last week I was finishing up another recipe with peanut butter cups and my kids were all screaming for the leftovers. Since I didn’t have enough for everyone to get a whole one, I decided to cut them in half and use them as a cupcake topper. Of course, I couldn’t just plop them atop just any cupcake, I wanted it to taste like it was supposed to be there too. This is how I created my peanut butter cream cheese frosting ridiculously fast — with only two ingredients! Yes! Two ingredients is all it took for me to make this peanut butter cream cheese frosting on the fly and it tasted perfect! My Peanut Butter Cup Queen (or, the picky eater teen girl who loves all things peanut butter) devoured hers and asked me to make them again this week!
Are you ready to find out what the two ingredients are that topped this cupcake in beautiful deliciousness?
Can you believe it? I love sharing tips for faking awesomeness whenever I can — especially with other moms because sometimes we don’t have time for awesome when we need it. I know it isn’t a “true recipe” and I’m sure I’ll create a 100% homemade version for you at some point, but for now, this works, tastes great, and anyone can do it! ~ Enjoy!
Two Ingredient Peanut Butter Cream Cheese Frosting
