TWELVElittle: Diaper Bags for Today’s Mommy!

Wow! Diaper bags have really changed over the years! When my oldest child was born diaper bags looked more like overnight bags.  They were huge with baby characters on them.  Nothing about the bags were created with mom in mind. Not the straps, design, size, anything! I looked like I was going away on a vacation for a week anytime I went anywhere.

Thank goodness diaper bags today are designed for more than size and function!

The diaper bag I received from TWELVElittle for the OhBaby! Event is night-and-day different from the bulky monstrosity I used twenty years ago!  She’s (yes, “she”) is smooth, fashionable, and something I don’t want my kids to touch!

Peek-A-Boo Diaper Bag Backpack Review

We already know the Peek-A-Boo Backpack is a stylish diaper bag (you can tell that just by looking at her), but she’s also super functional. The first outside pocket contains the front “Peek-a-Boo” flap.  This flap is multi-functional and can hold both a diaper and pack of  wipes for quick access. I like that I can easily get to the things I need on the outside of the bag without having to open the main compartments.  If you aren’t a fan of having quick access to your diapers and wipes, this flap also allows for you to move the magnetic center divider over to store whatever you need (see the video below for more details).

Above the front flap, there is a outer zipper compartment. The zipper elements are large and the slider pull is adorned with a vegan leather charm/tassle. Both the zipper and slider are durable and able to withstand repeat use.  The compartment itself is perfect for all of mommy’s needs: wallet, phone, keys, etc.

On each side of the backpack I found pockets that are lined with a wipeable fabric. These pockets are large enough for both a baby bottle or an adult-size water bottle.  Carry one of each even!

Yay! Diapers, wipes, and bottles are all readily available on the outside of

the Peek-A-Boo Backpack, BUT are you ready to dive into the inside?

The durable zipper design continues onto the main compartment of the diaper bag. The zipper allows the bag to open from the top more than expected. The zipper pull is large enough for easy access and use; smaller than the pull found on the front compartment.

The interior design reminds me of the features found in a ladies purse. It has separate pockets and a more secure interior zippered compartment for important items.  I like the key clip that can be accessed near the top of the interior. Next to it there is a hook-and-loop strap to secure pacifiers, rattles, or other small items.

The interior material can be wiped clean easily. I am confident that minor (or major) bottle mis-haves won’t cause the bag ruin. That said, there is also a bottle holder inside of the bag that should help prevent spills even further.

Let’s talk rings and loops.
