TWELVElittle: Diaper Bags for Today’s Mommy!

All opinions expressed herein are my own!

Wow! Diaper bags have really changed over the years! When my oldest child was born diaper bags looked more like overnight bags.  They were huge with baby characters on them.  Nothing about the bags were created with mom in mind. Not the straps, design, size, anything! I looked like I was going away on a vacation for a week anytime I went anywhere.

Thank goodness diaper bags today are designed for more than size and function!

The diaper bag I received from TWELVElittle for the OhBaby! Event is night-and-day different from the bulky monstrosity I used twenty years ago!  She’s (yes, “she”) is smooth, fashionable, and something I don’t want my kids to touch!

TWELVElittle Peek-A-Boo Backpack Diaper Bag

Peek-A-Boo Diaper Bag Backpack Review

We already know the Peek-A-Boo Backpack is a stylish diaper bag (you can tell that just by looking at her), but she’s also super functional. The first outside pocket contains the front “Peek-a-Boo” flap.  This flap is multi-functional and can hold both a diaper and pack of  wipes for quick access. I like that I can easily get to the things I need on the outside of the bag without having to open the main compartments.  If you aren’t a fan of having quick access to your diapers and wipes, this flap also allows for you to move the magnetic center divider over to store whatever you need (see the video below for more details).

Above the front flap, there is a outer zipper compartment. The zipper elements are large and the slider pull is adorned with a vegan leather charm/tassle. Both the zipper and slider are durable and able to withstand repeat use.  The compartment itself is perfect for all of mommy’s needs: wallet, phone, keys, etc.

On each side of the backpack I found pockets that are lined with a wipeable fabric. These pockets are large enough for both a baby bottle or an adult-size water bottle.  Carry one of each even!

Note: The Peek-A-Boo Diaper Bag shown in the video above features webbed straps.  The straps provided on bag provided for this review are vegan leather.

Yay! Diapers, wipes, and bottles are all readily available on the outside of

the Peek-A-Boo Backpack, BUT are you ready to dive into the inside?

The durable zipper design continues onto the main compartment of the diaper bag. The zipper allows the bag to open from the top more than expected. The zipper pull is large enough for easy access and use; smaller than the pull found on the front compartment.

The interior design reminds me of the features found in a ladies purse. It has separate pockets and a more secure interior zippered compartment for important items.  I like the key clip that can be accessed near the top of the interior. Next to it there is a hook-and-loop strap to secure pacifiers, rattles, or other small items.

The interior material can be wiped clean easily. I am confident that minor (or major) bottle mis-haves won’t cause the bag ruin. That said, there is also a bottle holder inside of the bag that should help prevent spills even further.

TWELVElittle Peek-A-Boo Backpack Diaper Bag

Back to the outside of the diaper bag!

Yes, there IS more!

Let’s talk rings and loops. There are three on the topside of the backpack that each serve as a way to clip on your accessories!  TWELVElittle has a variety of accessories to go along with their beautiful diaper bags and I want them all! The Peek-A-Boo Backpack becomes the perfect diaper system when you add a phone bag, diaper changing kit, bottle bag, insulated pouch, bag charms and the On-The-Go Diaper Bag Stroller Clips!

Psst!  This bag has a secret! Do you travel and have one of those handy carry-on bags with the pull up handle? You’re going to love what TWELVElittle did for you (see photo below!)  The backside pocket of this bag has a secret! There is a top AND bottom zipper that will allow for you to thread your carry-on handle right through your Peek-A-Boo diaper bag!

About the Peek-A-Boo Diaper Bag Backpack

Designed for style-savvy moms, the Peek-A-Boo Diaper Bag Backpack can be used during the diapering stage and beyond. The simple design of the exterior makes the backpack diaper bag both timeless and transitional from season to season, while the interior features multiple pockets to make organization easy.

Whether you plan on using the backpack for diapers, travels, work—or all the above—its versatility makes it easy to carry as your everyday bag. And don’t forget to take a ‘PEEK’ at what’s under the front flap: you’ll find a pocket specifically designed to fit a pack of baby wipes and an opening to easily pull out a wipe when needed. But if you’d rather use the space to hold other stuff, simply adjust the orientation of the inner flap (and voilà!) turn it into a regular pocket for your mommy goods.

Features:

  • Made with 100% vegan leather.
  • Two side bottle pockets.
  • Front mag snap wipe pocket with opening for wipe pouch (included); Can also be used as a regular pocket by moving the center mag snap divider. (See video above for demonstration.)
  • Multiple exterior and interior pockets for maximum organization.

Out with the Old, In with the New!

While the Peek-A-Boo Backpack isn’t the bulky bag of my past, it certainly has the appropriate amount of storage for today’s mommy!  Inside of mine you will find a swaddle blanket, outfits, bib, baby lotion, wipes, diapers, postpartum needs for me, and all of the usual items that would normally be inside of my purse.  There’s no need to carry both a diaper bag and a purse now! This diaper bag from TWELVElittle gives me the freedom to carry just the one! (AND look great using it!)

Now this is a diaper bag!! I don’t know how women today could carry a diaper bag if it was not a back pack. I weight my niece bag one time and it was almost 20 lbs. Of course she carried ever thing with her. I like that it hooks on the stroller I am going to share this with my great niece she might want this.

I would have loved a diaper bag like this!! When I had my children, I used a small suitcase. My suitcase helped as my purse too. There were made out of cloth. I usually ripped them. I over stuffed it for one. The diaper pins didn’t help while they were unpinned. The strap wasn’t strong. I had to sew and duct tape it. I could go on!! My oldest baby is 48 years old in August and I had diaper service -so you can understand the timeline. This diaper bag is definitely a lot more useful and stylish and deserves to be pinned on a Pinterest board. This would make a great gift 🎁 Thank you for sharing!
