10 Chocolate Valentine’s Day Cookie Recipes
Have you seen those memes on social media indicating that the way to a woman’s heart on Valentine’s Day isn’t with chocolate? I don’t know who these people are, but they don’t speak for me – Ha! What do they mean we don’t want chocolate? I do! I always want chocolate! Chocolate cookies, cakes, brownies, muffins, candy… yes! I want it! Tough cookies to those who don’t (smile)!
Not only do I WANT chocolate for Valentine’s Day, but I have every intention to bake a little chocolate for my family too. I will probably start the day off with a chocolate oat muffin and end it with a sampling of the cookies listed below. Which cookie recipes are you going to bake? Tell me in the comments.

Before I let you off on your own cookie adventure with the full list of recipes, I wanted to highlight two of my favorites. The first (pictured above) is from Low Carb Spark. I have been trying my best to seek low carb alternatives to the treats I love most while I”m battling gestational diabetes this pregnancy. If I’m having a good day, I will sneak in a quick cookie recipe to treat myself without the guilt and fear of making my blood sugar skyrocket! I really like the ingredients listed in this recipe and it uses an amount of alternative sweetener that I’m most comfortable with — Just half a cup!

The next cookie I”m going to share with you are these Salted Chocolate Sable Cookies from Marcie at Flavor the Moments. My husband loves a crunchy cookie he can enjoy with a glass of milk or coffee. I think these sandy, I mean sable, cookies will make the perfect Valentine’s Day treat for him! Don’t they look amazing in the picture she sent over? I can smell them baking already!
